I know, I know, but… it has a prelim writer, no? And the thing was announced as green-lit in the Empire (or Odeon, I forget) news previews when I went to watch something not long ago, so I’m guessing something is cooking, even if it never goes anywhere in the end. But I would dearly love a third film because the second was beautiful but tremendously unimaginative compared to the first - but, but, it had enough intriguing ideas scattered around that a good writer could grab on to and craft something fantastic.
